Hinsdale- Danny Eugene Saari, 59, of Meetinghouse Road died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, September 1, 2017 at his home and later pronounced deceased at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
Danny was born in Rutland, Vermont on November 20, 1957 the son of Eino and Gloria (Hall) Saari.
He was raised in Plymouth Union and other numerous towns in Vermont attending public school in Strafford, Vermont.
Danny worked briefly at Leader Beverage Company, Cersosimo Lumber and at C&S Wholesale Grocers. He mainly was a “jack of all trades” mostly mechanics and carpentry.
Of his leisure time activities he enjoyed hunting, fishing, pitching horseshoes, riding his four-wheelers and especially enjoyed working with wood. Danny also liked playing golf with his friend Rick.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Woods, one daughter, Dannielle Milde and her husband Tim, step-daughter, Chrystal Quinn, and six grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Isaiah, Zachary, Jon and Shelbi.
Additionally, he leaves three sisters, Brenda Saari and her companion Alan “Butch” Butler of Hinsdale, Tina Brown and her husband Tom of Strafford, VT, Shannon Dube of Claremont, NH, two brothers, Trent Saari of Strafford, VT and Randy Saari of Bridgewater, VT., several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and numerous friends.
A memorial gathering in celebration of his life will be held at the Millstream Community Center on Main Street in Hinsdale on Saturday, September 16’Th from 1 to 5 P.M.
