Brattleboro- Paul David Pinger, 67, of Larkin Street, a lifelong resident of town died unexpectedly Thursday morning, December 21, 2017 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Paul was born in Brattleboro on June 1, 1950, the son of Roger and Sophie (Bobee) Pinger, Sr. He attended Saint Michael’s Parochial School and Saint Michael’s High School until its closing in 1968 later graduating from Brattleboro Union High School, Class of 1969.
He had been employed most of his working career in warehouse shipping and receiving for several businesses in the greater Brattleboro area.
Paul enjoyed collecting stamps and time shared with his family.
On July 4, 1987 at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church he was married to Sandra “Sandy” Tatro who survives.
Besides his faithful and devoted wife of 30 years he is survived by two sons, Jonathan Pinger, currently a student at Norwich University and James Pinger of Brattleboro; two brothers, Joseph “Tom” Pinger of San Bernardino, CA and Andrew Pinger of Brattleboro; one sister, Kathy Sousy of Brattleboro; a granddaughter, Ariana of Putney, and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Stephen Pinger and Roger Pinger, Jr.
In keeping with Paul’s final wishes, there are no formal services scheduled. Burial will be at the convenience of the immediate family.
