Holiday Help Program

Holiday Help Program - Monday, December 9, 2019

Often celebrations and special family traditions are difficult for the bereaved.

Offered to Bereaved Families

Each year in the beginning of December, the Atamaniuk Funeral Home hosts a Holiday Support Program and Service of Remembrance for bereaved family and friends. The public is invited free of charge.

We know that celebrating the holidays without a loved one is one of the most strenuous events for a grieving family. Often celebrations and special family traditions are difficult for the bereaved so we are continuing this encouraging seminar.

During the program, speakers will share specific ways of coping with the holiday season and provide helpful booklets and brochures. There will be a candle lighting ceremony in honor of all families that have experienced a loss. Each deceased family member will be remembered that evening. Afterwards refreshments will be served.

We are encouraging those that plan on attending the event to invite two other people that they know have experienced a loss. The program is open to everyone, not just families that were served by our firm.

As caring neighbors for so many years, we always try to give back to the community what has come to mean so much to us. We are dedicated to providing personal service and offering programs beyond what you would expect from a funeral home.

To learn more about the upcoming holiday program, contact Michael Atamaniuk at Atamaniuk Funeral Home Inc., 40 Terrace Street, Brattleboro, or call (802) 254-8183. This year's event will be held Monday, December 9th at 7:00pm at the V.F.W. Carl Dessaint Post #1034 on Black Mountain Road. For those families who plan on attending, reservations are requested since seating may be limited.
