Obituary

North Falmouth, MA - Mary Elizabeth (Liddy) Logan Tustin, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at North Falmouth, MA. Her family was at her side.

She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Joseph Tustin, a son, Mark L. Tustin, and her brother, Frederic W. Walker.

Mary was born in Springfield, MA on June 22, 1923, to John E. Logan and Mary E. (Silliman) Logan. She graduated from Bassick High School in Easton, CT at the age of 16. Mary pursued a Nursing Degree beginning in 1941 and completed it, graduating with honors, at Hartford Hospital in 1961.

In the interim, she married Clifford in 1943 and raised four children: Peter (Evie) of Townshend, VT and Bokeelia, FL; Jonathan (Carolyn) of Louisa, VA; Deborah (Bernard) of Bass River, MA; and Mark (Kiki) of Windsor CT.

She was a nurse for the Visiting Nurses Association in Windsor and retired after 25 years as a supervisor.

Mary leaves behind a sister Virginia Laufer of Colchester, CT; Eleven grandchildren: Stephanie (Walter), Christopher (Hannah), Rebecca (Kyle), Jonathan, Sarah (Joseph), Elizabeth (Peter), Adam (Melody), James (Michelle), Michael (Shawna), Nicholas (Cayla) and Sevasti “Kelly” (Ollie); twenty great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

Mary was a devout Catholic. A funeral mass will be held in the spring at St. Michaels Church, Brattleboro, VT, with internment following at the Guilford Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a charity of choice.
