Kay Benjamin Siegel, age 25, resident of Putney, VT. died on Thursday March 8th unexpectedly in Minneapolis Minnesota. Born March 22nd, 1992 at home in Brattleboro, VT to Ea Maples and Johnathon Siegel. Kay graduated from Putney Central School and Brattleboro Union High School and was currently residing in Minneapolis Minnesota. Most recently Kaya was an Automobile Recovery Specialist, A.K.A Repo-Man and damn proud of it.
Kaya was full of love and laughter and had a heart for anyone who needed it. He had a strong and firm connection with his family and friends. He played music and love to write. From the time Kaya was small he loved to read, tell jokes, and enjoy adventure. Kaya’s humor and heart went unmatched.
He is predeceased by his Father, Johnathon Guy Siegel. He is survived by his mother Ea Maples, his siblings Jack and Audrey Maples and Dakota Roberts, his step father Krishna Maples, his grandparents Hyam Siegel, Judy Kinoy, Rick Spruchman, Gary and Jean Maples,
his aunts and uncles, Brenda, Tommy and Sarah Siegel and Holly, Chris and Jon Maples, Camellia Alexander, his cousins Ajna, Rylan, Max and Emma Siegel, Taylor and Teegan Maples, Samantha Douglas-Maples, Darby, Ceciley and J.D. Alexander and many close friends.
The family would like to thank Kaya’s community for their unending love, support and encouragement through all of his years. He knew that he was wrapped in your love and he loved all of you with the same spirit. Kaya Siegel was unapologetically himself, brimming with love and kindness.
A memorial service in his honor will be held Tuesday 3/13/2018 at West Village Meeting House, followed by a graveside service in the BAJC Cemetery at Morningside Cemetery and a reception at his grandfather’s house on 99 Meetinghouse Lane.
